  They were supposed to fit a Gazco Studio Slimline fire flush into a chimney breast. Did not line the bottom of the hole so the heat would vent into the cavity and claimed they had done it correctly despite the instructions for the installation being clear that it should have been lined on all sides. Fire was left loose in the hole despite them being asked to secure it flush to the wall ready for a tiler. The way the fire was left it was impossible for it to be tiled. Left insulating board proud of the wall that the fire was to be fitted flush to preventing the required fit. Fitted the battery box for the fire very badly into a wall that was to be covered with tiles, never even asked where I would like it. The hole was bashed out and not cut, the areas that had to be filled with bricks and motar were atrocious left with bits proud of the wall and bits that still needed filling. Even stole brick from my garden to fill a hole, didnt even ask! They cut a 15cm hole in my exterior wall for the flue, the wall is exposed to wind and rain and left it open with no attempt to block it with anything, this hole would have been there for 3 weeks! Left the fire exposed to the rain and external air which according to Gazco it should not have been. I wish I could post some pictures so you could see. I raised the points with Tony who was getting tired of hearing what I had to say! Absolutely atrocious workmanship and whenas a paying customer expressed his concerns he was basically told to F off. They will not be finishing my job, I have agreed a refund of my deposit and now it seems they want to go back in that and charge me £707 to have a hole cut in two walls, an installation that to date is not to the manufacturer specifications, is not what I asked for and will not allow the continued progress of my job without fixing their errors. Very very poor.
